heyhey. i didnt do anything today. just slept and woke up. and then played the computer and watched tv. lovely holidays right?

i went to Orchard with my aunt ytd. it was so fun! she's 30 plus years old (she'd probably kill me if i publicised her age) and so it was fun. i said that already right? it was fun:) we went around to so many shops but didnt get anything because we wanted to check out everystore before getting anything. but we couldnt. we made the plan to go there again today and to Chinatown too because she wanted to make a cheong sam, but i woke up late and so we didn't go. hee. i went to this shop called Forever21 and saw this very nice hat. it was pink and had a very elegant cut to it. i was also eying another one, it was grey and pink and it was nice too. i wanted to get the pink hat but we walked on and didn't go back today. so top on my list when i go there would be the pink hat from Forever21!

talking about Orchard, after dinner today (which took place at 930) i bugged my dad to drive us through Orchard Road to see the lights. so he brought us, my aunt, my mum and myself. it was so nice! the christmas trees were moving actually and everything was so bright (well yea they're lights) and festive. it was late so we couldnt get down. i never went to Orchard during the christmas season before because well, i was never really "close" to Orchard and mostly started going this year. but then again, not often. Orchard road to me is like a place you go for special occassions! and so this christmas i'll probably be there again. that is if we dont extend our stay. i dont really know.

next tuesday we're going to Ipoh again! yay. heard lots about my baby cousin and my eldest aunt is back too so it'll be fun. lots of good food. ack, fat fat fat. how am i supposed to lose weight at this rate. oh yea btw i saw my brother today. his hair grew long and looked kind of rectangle shaped. he lost alot of weight. his cheeks are hollow-er, his head looks smaller (imagines people laughing at the visual), and was reminding us that he was coming back next friday. he talked to me today. about my results, i got them long ago but mum only told him yesterday. he says i should get tuition to build up the basic "foundation". tuition. well yea i guess i need it. i mean look what a tuition free life had got me. but its time to buck up! next year is streaming year so i'd better do well.

wow long post today. and i cant seem to tag the board so i'll reply the tags here for now.

heyhey! thanks to someone on the tagboard, i'm here to blog. i'm listening to re runs of "Beautiful Soul" by Jesse Mccartney. i was looking for lyrics and i didn't kow which site to go to so i just typed www.lyrics.com and then at the bottom they have songs from different singers and bands. ok my ears are starting to hurt form hearing the same song over and over. but its still ok. its a nice song!

ack, my stomach feels crushed. ytd, i went to Bugis with Elc, Wanshee adn then later Lynette and Fiona came. i had a double cheese burger and you know now at Mac's they give how many calories are in the foods they sell along with sodium and all that on that piece of paper of the tray? i tore it and kept it. Wanshee called me weird but hey! its a reminder. i left early (sorry guys!) and met Sarah and my mum sent us to the ice cream gallery. its a small place, cosy, and so we went in and spent quite s ome time choosing which ice cream to get. they make their own ice cream and its really good. i didn't tell my dad though, i can just picture him saying "michelle you're eating too much fatty foods." like he did about my lunch. which was, well, yea alot- so no blaming him. anyway we finally settled on cheesecakes. i got a strawberry one and Sarah got a blueberry one. the seats were full so we sat out side. it was just a bench and we just sat there licking our ice cream and everytime someone passed us we would make exclamations like "this ice cream is so good! very creamy." hoping to get them to come in. i guess we should have said reduced sugar right?

my aunty's coming to Singapore next monday! yay. i'm going to bring her to go see Orchard road. i think it going to be lightin gup today actually. i'm not sure. ahh christmas. what a wonderful holiday right. i remember two christmasses ago i actully stayed up till the wee hours of the morning and made a christmas tree because we didn't have one. so i scrunched up balls on green paper and stuck them on to those foot ball cones. it was fun.

hmm am i geting into the christmas season too early? nah. the supermarkets are already ready so why shouldnt i be right? i love christmas.

hello hello, did any of you guys catch Notting Hill just now? i just watched it.

Notting Hill! great show. Julia Roberts, Hugh Grant... Ben Affleck and Josh Hartnett wrote the script and won an Oscar ( i think) for it. so the story is like this. Julia, her screen name is Anna, is an actress from America who has come to England. i miss3ed the first part so i dont know why. and Hugh, his screen name is William, owns this book shop or something like that. and so he spills coffee on her, she goes to his house, they talk about apricots and honey, she kisses him and he has no idea shes a movie star then he pretends to be a writer for Horses and Hounds and interviews her oh yes! Mischa Barton was in there too. The OC rocks! ok so you know they fall in love, he find out she has a boyfriend, and he's heartbroken but they both still like each other very much and so she comes to him and says that she would like to go out with him, and he refuses and then she has this press conference and it was amazing! he gets the final question because she has to fly back to america. so he asks her that if that guy Thatcher ( his surname) realised he had made a mistake and that she would consider going out with im again, she says yes. and she asks another reporter to repeat his earlier question which was " how long are you staying in Britain?" to which at first she answered " i have to leave soon becaus ei have to catch a flight back to America" ( might not be all correct but around there) and so he repeats his question, and she replies "indefinitely." and then all the cameras turn to William and Anna's happy faces and the last scene, is where they show the bench. Anna is pregnant and lying on Williams lap with her legs resting on the arm rests, and William's reading a book. ok i'm just giving a very brief discription and you should watch it if you can! it really is a good show.

"i'm just a girl, standing infront of a boy, asking him to love her."

that has to one of the most meaningful and romantic lines i've ever heard in my entire life. which is not much, 13 years, but hey its good enough isnt it. ah ok, its 1.10am, have to go out tmr, no wait, actually today. have to be at Julia's at 10am so i'd better go sleep.
